Shopping for a Win

The final score doesn't do the game justice. It was an exciting game with some stellar moments, stupid penalties, disappointments and surprises. All in all, I think the Long family was the hands down winner. The speed with which Chris acted to remove his brother from the bad situation Kyle created speaks to family loyalty. Howie and Diane should be proud.

I tried to shop my way to a win today. St. Louis boasts some amazing local Italian restaurants in the area known as The Hill. This area has become so successful that grocery stores carry products by some of those restaurants. My local Schnuck's store (a chain based out of St. Louis) had Four Cheese Toasted Ravioli by Louisa's and Taste of the Hill Marconi Mushroom and Onion Pasta Sauce. Both are tasty.

I hoped the genuine deal straight from St. Louis would do the trick. Sadly, no. da Bears fell to the Rams 42-21. However, the Lions and Packers also lost so the rankings haven't changed. da Bears and Lions are tied for first in the NFC North trailed by the Packers at 5-5 and Minnesota at 2-8. Next week da Bears play Minnesota. Time to focus our attention on our foes to the north.
